This series is a reflection of a life many woman of color in our society today face.

We are thrown into a reality that is not tailored to our roots. Yet we bloom.

We rise beautifully & effortlessly. Attaching ourselves to the walls meant to entrap our spirits

 we mold them into our canvas.

We adapt.

& then divinity steps in 

& these obstacles become a part of the greatest story we learn to know in life.
